Slip of the Disc

A while back I had a blog under the same name, unfortunately it somehow connected to my old bosses email account and I couldn't change it, so to save awkwardness I closed it down.

But this morning after cutting up Garlic, two tomatoes and 3 fillets of Quorn chicken on a board, only to knock it off the side face down, I decided to start it up again.

I see a lot of people claim how clumsy they are and the things they mention I can only laugh at because I feel like such worse things happen to me and at such a higher occurrence rate (which I have come to accept).

I always say I'm never sure if I'm clumsy or just ridiculously unlucky- Perhaps a bit of both. I find documenting the things that happen to me makes it easier for me to handle the frustration, knowing that someone, somewhere, will get a laugh out of my misfortunes and reading them back myself can have the same effect.

So to start it off following on from the slip of the board this morning, here's a photo of my two lovely slipped/prolapsed discs from way back when I was 14. Damaged by my friend dropping me on my head, made worse by a failed front drop on a trampoline and made worse still by many misdiagnoses and a trip to Disneyland Paris not knowing how serious my injury was. I do love when older human beans mock me when I say I have a bad back sometimes, I should print this out for reference.
